Chat Etiquette

With a growing guild, chat etiquette becomes more important. Even more important at times of heavy use. So, in the interests of not cluttering guild chat too much during busy times, the following guidelines have been put forth.

-If you’re having a conversation with one or more guildies that may not hold interest for the rest of the guild, please form a party so you can converse in party chat or use whisper.

-TTH is all about helping one another and we welcome your questions. However, spamming guild chat with endless questions best answered by doing stuff yourself is not as welcome and you may find yourself being ignored.

-Our membership spans all ages and interests so please consider others in what you say in guild chat. There is no intent to censor people but what you consider funny, topical, etc. may not seem that way to others.

-If you have a class specific question, if possible, whisper a member who plays that class and may know the answer.

These guidelines are, in no way, intended to deter, limit, censor or stop the active participation of all members in conversing with one another. Nor are they rules. They have been put in place to help all guild members enjoy guild chat to the maximum during peak times, not to say that they are limited to these times.

They have not been put in place to facilitate the reprimanding or disciplining of any guild member, unless said member is flagrantly ignoring them.
