We’ll Be Seeing at Least One More Content Patch Before Cataclysm

In a recent post Zarhym has indicated that we’ll be seeing more content added before the release of Cataclysm:

You personally still seem to have a lot of raid content to experience in Icecrown Citadel. In that regard, one thing we’ll be doing in the coming months is slowly making the content in Icecrown Citadel a little more accessible to the majority of the player base; meanwhile the more advanced raiding guilds will be working their way through Heroic difficulties of the various final bosses, including the Lich King.

Icecrown Citadel: Raid Weekly Quests

From Bornakk:

Now that Icecrown Citadel has been fully unlocked, allowing players the ability to progress in 10- and 25-player formats to defeat the Lich King, new raid weekly quests have been unlocked! These quests are specific to the Icecrown Citadel raid dungeon and do not correspond with the standard random raid weekly quest offered in Dalaran. Here’s an overview of what you need to know.

One of five quests will be randomly available each week in both 10- and 25-player versions of the dungeon. This means each player has the opportunity to complete two Icecrown Citadel raid weekly quests each week if the dungeon is run in both versions, however, these quests have to be completed within the raid version (10- or 25-player) in which they are offered.

Patch 3.3.2 Review

Everything you want to know about Patch 3.3.2

This Tuesday sees the release of what is likely to be the last big patch to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.  The patch is 3.3.2 and releases several big things into the game as well as changing quite a few existing things as well.  The biggest additions are the release of the last wing in Icecrown Citadel and therefore the Lich King himself, the start of the 8th Arena Season, and the addition of a 4th boss to the Vault of Archavon named Toravon.  Some of the other changes though are pretty interesting as well, so let’s start small and work our way up to the bigger changes.
